No Injuries Reported In Shots Fired Call Near Tulsa School

Police are stationed outside Celia Clinton School in north Tulsa. Police are stationed outside Celia Clinton School in north Tulsa.

The sound of gunfire near a north Tulsa school puts the campus on lock down Tuesday afternoon.

Tulsa Schools officials said Celia Clinton Elementary at 1700 N Harvard Avenue was put on lock down at 2:00pm when Tulsa police got a 911 call about gunshots near the school.

No shooter was ever found and there were no injuries reported in the incident.

Tulsa police tell KTUL.com there are no reported injuries with the shots fired call either. Officers have saturated the neighborhood searching for the person who fired the shots.

The suspect is a black male unknown age 5'08"-6'0" slender wearing a black or dark blue hoodie and blue jeans.

Officials with TPS tell us that the children were safe inside the school through the ordeal.
