Annual Christmas Recycling Campaign To Start

American Waste Control are teaming up with the MET Recycling of Tulsa for its annual "Unboxing Christmas" campaign.

The campaign begins Dec. 26 and will end Jan. 6, 2013. The campaign is geared at encouraging recycling of Christmas packaging as well as cardboard, paper, plastic, aluminum, glass and Styrofoam.

Part of the proceeds from the campaign will go to the Salvation Army and the Sandy Hook School fund through the United Way in Conn.

"Our goal is to get the Tulsa community involved in recycling Christmas packaging and lessening the burden on our landfills," said Kenny Burkett, found and owner of American Waste Control.

To drop of recyclables, head to 1150 North Peoria--electrical wire, Styrofoam, cardboard, Christmas trees, paper, cardboard, plastics, aluminum and glass.
