Tulsa Police Investigate Suspicious Devices Found Near 61st & Mingo

Tulsa Police say they are looking for whoever was responsible for making a suspicious threat.

Officers were called to 61st and Mingo after someone reported a suspicious object.

Police have stated they found two of the objects following the information given by an anonymous woman.

According to police, the object was described by the caller as a grenade type device.

Officers say the devices were commercial fireworks.

The bomb squad responded to the scene.

Traffic was diverted, but is now flowing smoothly.
