Sooners Impressed With Manziel and Aggies Offense

Posted: Updated:

The University of Oklahoma went through Cotton Bowl Media Day Sunday in Arlington, TX at Cowboys Stadium.

The Sooners will face former Big 12 foe and new SEC member Texas A&M.  The Aggies took the Southeastern Conference by storm with a fast paced and prolific offense.  They broke several SEC records behind Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.

During OU head coach Bob Stoops time in front of the media he was asked about the A&M offense.  He said they are a Big 12 offense playing against SEC defenses and they more than held their own.

"They seemed to mange it pretty well when look at they led the SEC in every single offensive category.  They are third in the nation in scoring and total offense.  Number one in third down efficiency.  So it looks like they've handled it pretty well.

The Cotton Bowl kicks off on January the 4th at 7:00pm.
