Children's Hospital Patients Get Special Guests

Posted: Updated:
Tulsa -

Patients at the Children's Hospital at St. Francis are taking the driver's seat Friday morning. They'll have the help of two professional Monster Jam drivers.

Damon Bradshaw and Jean Paul Ruggerio will visit the kids at the hospital.  Bradshaw and Ruggerio will bring the Monster Jam Bead of Courage to the kids.

Beads of Courage and Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam have joined forces for the second consecutive year to provide the Monster Jam Bead of Courage.  The bead is packaged with a note of encouragement explaining the symbolism of the bead and an autograph page for the driver to make it "official."  To add to the experience, each Monster Jam Bead of Courage ® is packaged with 8 other beads that provide further encouragement to patients - creating the Beads of Courage Monster Jam Thriller Necklace.

The kids will have one on one time with the drivers, get autographs, and take pictures.

Bradshaw and Ruggerio will teach the kids how to make their own Monster Jam Thriller necklaces to help them cope with their difficult journey.
