Tulsa Gun Show Draws Attention

Posted: Updated:
Tulsa, OK -

This weekend, a gun show is bringing both criticism and enthusiasts.

Vendors set up their guns for sale in the Expo Square at the Tulsa Fairgrounds.

The Owasso-based show tours through Oklahoma and holds exhibits in Tulsa a few times a year.

We spoke with people attending the show about the debate surrounding the control.

"It's not a gun issue, that's the issue here," says Chris Taylor, who attended the exhibition.  "I don't agree with banning anything."

Others say gun show vendors have fewer restrictions for sales than licensed dealers, allowing more room for guns to fall into the wrong hands.  With President Obama's re-election comes promises of tougher gun laws.

The Tulsa show wraps up Sunday.

Our cameras were not allowed inside.
