Kevin Swindell Gunning For Fourth Straight Chili Bowl

The 27th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl continued Wednesday night at the Expo Center in Tulsa.  Kevin Swindell is looking to take home his fourth straight championship.

What this guy has done is really amazing.  To think that there are 276 drivers entered in the Chili Bowl, then they whittle it down to just 24 cars for the final championship race and he's been able to be the first guy across the finish line the last three years is phenomenal.

Kevin says it takes more than just luck.  "It's more of you can't just create your own luck.  Your kind of at the will of what others are going to give you." Swindell said, "If someone wants to turn you around or turn you over it's not hard here.  It's simpler here than at most places.  That's the luck part.  Just not getting caught up in someone else's disaster."

Kevin won the VIROC Race of Champions on Tuesday night.  He'll try to qualify for Saturday's Championship race Thursday night.
