Owasso Woman Accused of Shooting, Killing Husband

An Owasso woman was taken into custody by Tulsa County Sheriffs for allegedly shooting and killing her husband Saturday night.

Vickie Lou McNeely, 69, called 911 Saturday night stating she had shot her husband after he came towards her with a knife.

According to TCSO arrest report, McNeely smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech. McNeely claimed she thought her husband was going to kill her.

Deputies located Daniel McNeely in the laundry room of the house.

A .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver was found on the kitchen counter. All five rounds in the cylinder had been shot.

According to the report, Daniel McNeely had multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the back of the head.
