Former Mayor Kathy Taylor To Run For Top Spot Once Again

Former Tulsa mayor Kathy Taylor announces she's running for election once again.

A source close to Taylor confirmed to KTUL.com early Wednesday that she will run for mayor in the next election.

Former city councilor Bill Christiansen has already announced plans for his candidacy. Current mayor Dewey Bartlett hasn't officially announced he'll run for a second term. A spokesperson for Bartlett confirmed Wednesday that he'll make a decision sometime next month.

Taylor was the 38th mayor of Tulsa serving one term from 2006-2009. She did not seek reelection and Bartlett was elected as her successor.
