Water Outage Coming For Some Creek County Residents

Necessary repairs will mean a service outage for some customers of Creek County Rural Water District Number 2.

Starting Monday at 9:00am, crews will begin replacing a key valve that affects a large portion of the system.

The affected areas include:
-All customers from 141st Street South to 181st Street South and customers east of 33rd West Ave and as far as Harvard Avenue.

In Kiefer, Brownstone Cottages, Evergreen and Maplewood will be affected.

"We apologize for the inconvenience, but our contractor is setting a new valve. Please have water in containers for use during this time. You may also bring a container to our office and we will fill it for you," a water district spokesperson said.
