A 22-year-old was arrested Wednesday for the death of a man back in December after an altercation occurred between the two.

Tahlequah Police arrested Kevin Lowe on charges of manslaughter for his apparent involvement in the death of Randy Crowe.

According to the release from police, it happened on Dec. 28 when Lowe and Crowe were on their way home from the bar after it closed that morning.

Tahlequah Police's Brad Robertson told KTUL.com that a witness told officers during the ride home Lowe and Crowe got into an argument and pulled over into an alley way. He said when Crowe attempted to assault Lowe, Lowe ducked and struck Crowe in the face.

Lowe's strike caused Crowe to fall back and hit his head on the asphalt. He was found bleeding in the alley way by police after a 911 call was made for his assistance.

He died the next day after his family made the decision to take him off life support.
