Oral Roberts University dominated Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday night, blasting the Lady Lions by a 90-48 count in front of 1,075 fans at the Mabee Center. The win evens ORU's record at 10-10 (7-3 Southland Conference).

Christian Key led the Golden Eagles with a career-high 22 points of 6-of-9 three-point shooting, and Kevi Luper added 19 points and five assists.

Sarah Shelton tallied her fourth straight double-double, with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaci Bigham added 13 points and Taylor Cooper scored 12.

All five ORU starters scored in double-figures for the first time since Nov. 16, 2010, a, 86-85 loss to Tulsa.

Bigham added nine assists and now needs two helpers to match 2006 alumnus Leah Cannon for ORU's career assist lead, at 603.

ORU shot 50.0% as a team and hit 13 three-pointers, a season-high.

Southeastern (9-12, 2-8 SLC) was led by Jameika Hoskins, who scored 11 points. The Lady Lions shot just 27.4% from the field.

ORU took control of the game with a 22-0 run early in the first half. Shelton scored the final six points of the rally to give the Golden Eagles a 25-2 run with 10:11 left in the opening half.

ORU held the Lions scoreless for 9:56 before SLU finally tallied their second basket of the game at the 8:53 mark.

The Golden Eagles led 44-21 at the halftime break and stretched the advantage over the 30-point mark with 17:30 left in the game, as Key drained a three-pointer to give the home team and 55-23 lead.

ORU's largest lead came with :54 left, when Elisabeth Daniels hit a jump shot to give the Golden Eagles a 90-46 edge.

The victory is the largest of the season for ORU against a Division I opponent. The 42-point margin is the largest for the Golden Eagle program against a fellow Division I club since a 103-53 drubbing of Southern Utah on December 3, 2011.

ORU returns to road action on Thursday, February 7, when they face Northwestern State. Game time in Natchitoches, La., is scheduled for 5:30 pm CT.
