Okay Schools Closed Monday, Viral Meningitis to Blame

Okay Schools are closed Monday, Feb. 4 due to viral meningitis.

David Harlow with Okay Public Schools said that schools would be out while crews are cleaning and disinfecting.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website, "viral meningitis is generally less severe and resolves without specific treatment."
