New Bridge Makes It Easier To Get Around Downtown

Tulsa -

It's now easier to get from Downtown Tulsa to the Brady District.

The Boulder Avenue Bridge between 1st Street and Archer is now open for two-way traffic.

City leaders held a dedication ceremony Monday afternoon.

The bridge was closed to vehicles in 1998, then pedestrians in 2008, as it continued to deteriorate.

The $8 million project was paid for with money from the third penny sales tax and a 2008 bond issue.
