Detectives Seek Help Identifying Two in South Tulsa Robbery
Mercedes Involved in Robbery
Detectives are searching for two suspects who committed a robbery in south Tulsa back in January.
Tulsa Police said it happened just after 7 a.m. on Jan. 6 in the area of 8100 S. Lakewood Place. At the location a male reported that he was taking out trash at his apartment complex when he saw a white female standing in the parking lot on her cellphone.
According to the police report, both began a conversation after the victim approached the female. She told the victim that she was arguing with her boyfriend and the victim invited her back to his apartment for coffee.
Police said when the two were inside the apartment a black male opened the door and entered the residence. The female told the victim that the other suspect had a gun and both were demanding money.
Both suspects forced the victim to drive to a bank in the area of 6600 S. Sheridan Road and forced him to withdraw money from the automated teller, according to the release.
Surveillance video captured the female suspect while she was inside the victim's vehicle while the black male followed the victim and the female to the bank in a black Mercedes.
According to the release, the victim provided the following descriptions of the individuals:
Suspect: white female, 22-30 in age, 5"08"-5'10" & 120-170 lbs.
