Investigators List Arson as Cause of North Tulsa House Fire
Investigators announced Friday that arson was to blame for a vacant house fire in north Tulsa.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday when Tulsa Fire were called to the 4900 block of N. Boston. There they found the house fully involved in fire.
TFD's Stan May told KTUL.com that crews began to fight the blaze soon after which left the home heavily damaged. He also said that part of the ceiling fell down on top of one of the firefighters during the blaze.
May said the firefighter was taken to an area hospital but his injuries weren't serious.
The house was vacant at the time of the fire and the investigation is ongoing to identify the arsonist.
