T-Town Rundown: Events for All Those in the Tulsa Area

Here are just a few things you can go do with your family or friends. You decide!

Dancers: Looking to show off your moves this evening? Want to impress your family and friends? Look no further than the Lafortune Family Sweathearts Dance. The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Buddy Lafortune Event Center. Cost is $5 per person.

Expo Center: Get out of your house and into your car so you can head to the Women's Living Expo beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting through the weekend. All those interested can see some local TV and radio personalities while also learning some new tricks and tips for around the house.

Festival Fun: Those needing a short trip outside of Tulsa can head to Glenpool for the "Tulsa Indian Art Festival." Lasting through the weekend, attendees can involve themselves in food, showcases of art and culture and plenty of other activities at the Glenpool Conference Center.

Music Lovers: Tulsans wishing to fill their ears with the sound of music can head to this years Hortonfest at Fassler Hall. Local bands will take the stand Friday and Saturday with their own stylings of local music.

    A motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital after colliding with a police officer's patrol unit in west Tulsa.The accident took place near 1700 W. Edison Street.Police say the officer involved in the accident had turned on to Edison while the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on the street. The injured motorcyclist collided with the police unit. Police say he was conscious when transported, but in significant pain.More >>
