Mill Valley Philharmonic presents the second concert series of its 13th season with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3, the revolutionary work of art that forever changed the symphonic world.

Mill Valley Philharmonic is an award-winning community orchestra providing dedicated volunteer musicians the opportunity to rehearse and perform orchestral repertoire. Today, MVP offers Samuel Barber’s award-winning work, The School for Scandal Overture, and Boccherini’s Cello Concerto in Bb with soloist Robert Howard.

Musicians come from all walks of life – from housekeeper to astrophysicist, from student to senior.

MVP is committed to presenting innovative programming, from masterworks to world premieres. They are based on a model of community engagement that reflects our belief that experiencing music as a community unites our spirits and our voices. MVP brings free, live orchestral music to people in their own communities to Marin and beyond.

Through their collaboration with the Kanbar Center for the Performing Arts they are able to present in the beautiful Hoytt Theater at The Osher Marin JCC in San Rafael.
