UPDATE: One Injured in Shooting Near 61st and Peoria

Tulsa Police responded to a shooting near 61st and Peoria, Friday night.

According to police, one person was injured in the shooting at Oxford Place Apartments. Police officers stated that a man was shot in either the chest or the back after a domestic dispute. 

Officers made contact with Ebony Hill, 19, who told them her boyfriend had been shot. Hill signed a search waiver and officers located a firearm and ammunition from the listed apartment.

The victim told one of the police officers that Hill shot him after "...he told her he was going to sleep with another girl."

According to the booking report, Hill admitted to being involved in the shooting. Hill was taken into custody on a felony domestic complaint.

The victim was transported to area hospital, however his condition is not known at this time.

61st Street and Peoria has been under the microscope after four women were found dead at Fairmont Terrace.

The intersection has a reputation of a lot of criminal activity.
