Blizzard Closes Highways Across West Oklahoma

Blizzard conditions have covered western Oklahoma roadways, causing closures as a precaution.

Travel to that part of the state will be very tough if not impossible, OHP troopers say.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports the following closures due to snow drifts and downed power lines. There are no closures right now in eastern Oklahoma.

WEST OKLAHOMA ROAD CLOSURES:

US-81 at Midway in Garfield County

US-81 at Hayward in Garfield County

US-412 at SH-132 in Garfield County

SH-132 just north of Drummond in Garfield County

US-412 at Meno in Major County

SH-51 just east of Okeene in Blaine County

All of US-412 in Major County is closed at this time due to snow

drifts.
