Cowboys Gig Horned Frogs

Posted: Updated:

The TCU Horned Frogs couldn't pull off another miracle win over one of the Big 12's best teams Wednesday night.  They didn't even come close.

Wednesday night the Oklahoma State Cowboys handed them their 14th conference defeat, 64-47.  TCU's only league victory this season was against Kansas.

The Horned Frogs did a good job keeping Marcus Smart and Markel Brown from hurting them.  Smart had just 9-points while Brown finished with seven.  But Dallas native Le'Bryan Nash destroyed them with a game-high 28-points.  Nash was the only Poke to score in double figures.

Oklahoma State held the Horned Frogs to 27-percent shooting from the field.

OSU improves to 21-6, 11-4 in Big 12 play.  They have won five straight road games.  They'll host Texas Saturday at 3:00pm.
