Posted: Updated:

Knives on a plane?

Right now it will get you in trouble.

But, some small knives and other currently banned sporting equipment will soon be allowed on airplanes.

The TSA announced the changes Tuesday, which will take effect April 25.

Knives must have blades that are six centimeters or shorter and be less than a half-inch wide.

Also, golf clubs, ski poles, hockey and lacrosse sticks, and pool cues will be allowed as carry-on luggage, as well as, toy and novelty bats.

Razor blades and box cutters will still be banned.
