Police Arrest Two Working Together in Pizza Store Heist
Two Tulsa residents are behind bars this week after police discovered they were working together on a robbery at a local pizza restaurant.
Bobby Gilton was arrested Monday morning and Brittany Payne on Thursday morning in connection with a robbery at a midtown Little Caesars. Both were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
According to the police report, Gilton, 19, entered the business on South Sheridan and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. But after further investigation it was determined that Payne, 22, planned the robbery with Gilton at the restaurant where she was also employed.
When Tulsa Police questioned Payne she admitted that there was $3,300 in the safe at she took $1,300 from the cash taken in the robbery.
Both are now in the Tulsa County Jail. They are set to appear in court later this month.
