Oakhurst -

A Tulsa firefighter is in the hospital after being burned fighting a house fire.

It happened Monday night in the 6400 block of W 60th St. in Oakhurst.

The Berryhill Fire Department helped with the fire.

A captain says the house held a lot of heat because the metal roof was installed over the normal roof.

No word on how badly the firefighter was injured or what sparked the blaze.

Investigators will determine what happened.
