Golden Eagles Named To All-Southland Team

Golden Eagles star guard Kevi Luper is named to the All-Southland Conference First Team Monday as voted on by the league coaches and sports information directors.

She averaged 19.3 points per game and she led the league with 2.6 steals per game. Luper finished in the league's top-ten in field goal percentage, free throw percentage, three-point field goal percentage and blocked shots.

Teammate and fellow senior Jaci Bigham was named the league's second team.  She averaged 12.3 points per game and led the Southland Conference in assists, at 6.9 per game.

Freshman Taylor Cooper and redshirt junior Sarah Shelton received All-Southland Conference Honorable Mention honors.

The ORU women are the #1 seed in this weekend's Southland Conference Tournament in Katy, TX.
