Investigators have identified and are looking for a suspect involved in an auto-pedestrian collision that took place back in November in north Tulsa.
Around 10:45 p.m. on Nov. 19 Tulsa Police were sent to the area of E. Pine Street and N. New Haven in reference to an auto-pedestrian collision. At the scene a witness told officers that a red Ford pickup truck struck a pedestrian and continued east on Pine without stopping.
According to the release, that suspect was identified as Lazell Siggers by Traffic Investigators. A felony warrant for leaving the scene of an injury collision was issued for Siggers.
Back in November, KTUL.com spoke with a Tulsa bus drive who witnessed the accident and went to aid the pedestrian after the truck drove away. She stopped at the railroad tracks and put her hazard lights on and looked down.
"I looked down and I seen a man, I said that's a man. I pulled over and explained to everyone on the bus, I'm sorry I can't take you guys home, there's a guy in the street who just got hit," Hopkins says.
The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital with several critical injuries and at the time police were on the lookout for the truck, which had damage to the right front area of the pickup specifically the grill and headlight assembly will be broken, according to the press release.
Siggers is described as being five foot nine inches tall and 140 pounds.
