Weekend T-Town Rundown

Posted: Updated:
Tulsa, Oklahoma -

If you're looking for something to do in the Tulsa area this weekend, best put on some green!

Some of you started the celebration bright and early with the St. Patrick's Day run in Brookside.

If you didn't feel like running or got winded just watching, head to the Blue Dome District to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The party starts at 10 a.m. and goes till 1 a.m. You'll need the luck of the Irish to last the entire day!

You will find celebrations underway at Arnie's Bar, McNellie's and more. There will be live bands, food trucks and the Guinness Gig Rig!

Cherry Street will be shut down from Quincy Avenue to Trenton to begin the St. Patrick's Day celebration. From Kilkenny's to Smoke, you'll find food, live music and plenty to drink.

Other pubs in the area:

Baker Street Pub & Grill-6620 S. Memorial (Shhh, don't tell anyone it's English!)

George's Pub-108 N. 1st Street, Jenks (The English love to celebrate too!)

Potbelly's Pub and Grill-3724 S. Elm Place, Broken Arrow

Crow Creek Tavern-Brookside, 3534 S. Peoria Ave.

McHuston Booksellers & Irish Bistro-122 South Main Street, Broken Arrow

If you aren't a fan of Irish pub food or St. Patrick's Day in general, there are plenty of new (and not-so-new) restaurants to try in the Tulsa area.

-Laffa Medi-Eastern Restaurant & Bar, located in the Brady Arts District

-Caz's Chowhouse, also located in the Brady Arts District

-The Tavern on Brady, (another pub, but it's St. Patrick's Day!) located in the Brady Arts District
