All of this whilst experiencing the Bel Paese in an enchanting spot favoured by the german statesman Adenauer but even before him by Queen Victoria, Tsar Nicolas II of Russia, Stendhal, Franz Liszt, Giuseppe Verdi.... George Clooney also considers Lake Como his corner of paradise, his summer residence is here at Villa l'Oleandra.

The Adenauer Foundation owners of the villa have agreed to host the summer school in order to allow their corner of paradise to be known through courses held entirely in english run by tutors who have been chosen not only for their professional competence but also for their ability to transmit their love of their subject.
Lake Como Summer School offers residential and non residential, one and two week courses. Courses are held both in the morning and/or in the afternoon, many include field trips in the local area. It is also the perfect family holiday: at the same time that course students are emerging themselves in italian culture, younger guests can play and enjoy new experiences in the care of Summer School Junior.
