More construction cones will come to Lewis Avenue on Tuesday.
The exit off of I-44 will be closed from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Crews will be out widening the street. O-DOT advises drivers to use the Peoria Avenue and Harvard Avenue exits as alternate routes.
The westbound I-44 on-ramp from Lewis Avenue will be closed through late spring of this year.
