A Tulsa resident was taken into custody by police Wednesday afternoon on complaints of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl.

Brian Smith, 27, was arrested by Tulsa Police at his job in Broken Arrow for allegedly sexually abusing the minor multiple times over the past year. He is now facing three counts of sexual abuse of a minor.

According to the police report, the girl told police that Smith had forced her to touch his genitals on multiple occasions. She also described various other incidents occurring during the abuse.

Police were told by the victim that he had abused her multiple times in different rooms of a house, including the living room, bathroom and her bedroom.

Officers then made a phone call to Smith who admitted to one act in the bedroom, according to the police report. He was arrested the same day.

He is now being held on $150,000 bond and is due in court later this month.
