A late-season snow storm is bringing the sights of winter into the first part of spring for some Green Country communities.

Light snow showers  left a dusting on Bartlesville, Collinsville, Vinita and points in between. Nothing more than one or two flakes fell across the Tulsa metro.

Authorities in Washington, Nowata, Craig and Ottawa counties report no major incidents or crashes overnight due to the weather. Roads are wet, but slick in spots.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers report some slick spots on highways in Osage county. Roadways in Payne and Pawnee counties are just wet.

Tulsa's Channel 8's radar shows a band of snow showers sweeping through northern Oklahoma. It will clear the area by 9 or 10 a.m., said meteorologist Andrew Kozak.

With temperatures at or just above freezing, road conditions should stay wet for the most part. Areas around Bartlesville and Copan may experience slick spots on some bridges and low-traffic side streets.
