Firefighters Extinguish North Tulsa Blaze

Firefighters were able to contain a North Tulsa house fire.

It happened just after 5 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of E. Woodrow Pl.  That's near Harvard and Apache.

Firefighters say the house was heavily damaged by smoke.

Investigators will find out how the fire started.

Two people live in the house, but were not home at the time of the fire.

The Red Cross is helping them with a place to stay.
