Spring cleaning is well underway for most folks, but there's always a way to get the job done easier.
Amy Bates of Merry Maids Tulsa stopped by KTUL Tuesday to talk about different methods for cleaning windows.
In her work, she said she prefers to use a vinegar and water mixture instead of traditional glass cleaners. The time and type of day you pick to clean windows can help you, too.
"Doing it on a cloudy day is best so you can see the streaks, and it won't dry as fast. It helps you do a more efficient job so you don't have to keep wiping and cleaning."
Getting grime off of window screens doesn't have to be a chore either. Grab a spray bottle and fill it with:
3 cups water
1 cup ammonia
1 tbs dish soap
Spray the screen with this solution and lightly scrub.
