Tulsa Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Storage Building Fire

Tulsa Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire in a downtown storage building.
It happened just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of S. Elgin.
Firefighters say there was a small electrical fire from the transformer in the basement. There was a lot of smoke, which triggered the Halon system to engage. Halon is a compressed gas used to stop the spread of fire.
