Suspects hold a woman at gunpoint during and take her purse during armed robbery early Thursday.
It happened shortly after 2:30am near 33rd and south Memorial Drive.
Amanda Kidd was walking with a friend past a nearby store when an unknown car pulled alongside them.
Two armed men got out and quickly walked over. "We thought they were friends or something, but next thing I know I have a gun pointed right in my head and he's just like 'gimme your purse'," Kidd recalled.
She didn't hesitate to hand it over. The suspects got back in the car and disappeared down 31st Street just as quickly as the appeared.
"They really didn't get anything, just some makeup, about $10 dollars and my ID," she said. Kidd said the suspects pulled up in a newer Red car, but couldn't recall many other details.
"I'm moving to Washington tomorrow. I'm excited about that," she said.
