It happened Saturday evening near the Garnett exit.

The worker got stuck on the hood of the vehicle before being thrown off.

Witnesses followed the suspect's vehicle to an apartment complex near 31st E Ave. and Highway 169.

"We got numerous calls from citizens who saw the gentlemen come flying off the car," says Capt. Rick Helberg of the Tulsa Police Department.

Anyone with information is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 918-596-COPS. Callers may remain anonymous.

No word yet on the man's condition. He was wearing a safety vest at the time.

The driver is facing felony hit-and-run charges.
