Firefighters are on the scene of a possible explosion near Eufaula.

The McIntosh County Sheriff’s office is reporting that firefighters are battling the flames.

The Eufaula elementary school and middle school are being evacuated as a precaution.

At least two people were injured at the site with 3rd degree burns, deputies said.

Crews on scene say workers were moving a propane tank and accidentally knocked off the valve.  Gas filled the factory, then exploded.
