Saturday T-Town Rundown

Posted: Updated:

It's a gorgeous day and there is plenty to do, see and enjoy. We've compiled a list of things for all ages to enjoy and all in the Tulsa area.

Go Back in Time: Head southeast of Tulsa to the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival in Muskogee. The event runs through June 2 over at the Castle of Muskogee and experience plenty of costume and celebration.

Don't Be Chicken: But do head to Broken Arrow this weekend for the annual Rooster Days celebration. The event was first created to help get the roosters away from hens in order for them to give the freshest eggs and while you may not find a rooster walk around, you will find plenty of music and amusement park rides.

If You're Feeling Lazy: Get to Guthrie Green and stretch those muscles for the Tulsa Pulse Health & Fitness Festival. Beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The event will get attendees into yoga, belly dancing and hula hooping. And what's best is that the event is free for all!

Hit the Road...On Your Bike: Have you missed being on two wheels? Maybe you want to stick a card on your bicycle's wheel. Well you can do both at the Tulsa Historic Bike Tour today at Guthrie Green. According to the event's website the ride will take participant's through historic parts of town and end at TYPros Street CReD project.

Play Catch: Head to ONEOK Field to catch the Drillers against the Arkansas Travelers at 7:05 p.m.

Watch a Blockbuster: There are several exciting movies that are in theaters now. The Great Gatsby, Iron Man 3, 42, Oblivion and Mud are just a few you can see today in the Tulsa area.
