Happy Mother's Day to all of the Green Country's moms!

Here's a list of things going on around town and some great Mother's Day options.

History: The Woody Guthrie Center in the Brady District is open today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Nature: A butterfly festival is taking place today in Muskogee at the Honor Heights Park. Mom's get in free!

Music: Several local musicians will be gracing Guthrie Green with music. Go hang out in this gorgeous weather and listen to some music!

Time Machine: The Oklahoma Renaissance Festival continues today at the Castle of Muskogee from 10:30 a.m. till 7 p.m. Adults get in for $14.95, students/seniors $12.95 and children $7.95.

Shop: The Tulsa Motorcycle Swap Meet is taking place at the Admiral Twin Drive-In today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. It costs $6 to get in, but the snack bar will be open and several vendors will be open.

    A motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital after colliding with a police officer's patrol unit in west Tulsa.The accident took place near 1700 W. Edison Street.Police say the officer involved in the accident had turned on to Edison while the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on the street. The injured motorcyclist collided with the police unit. Police say he was conscious when transported, but in significant pain.More >>
