Silver Alert Issued For Missing Paraplegic

Posted: Updated:

Okmulgee County Sheriff Deputies have issued a silver alert for a missing man.

Garland Ray Trapp, 65, has been missing from the Hectorville area since 1 p.m. Monday.

Deputies say Trapp was last seen in a 1995 white Ford cargo van with Oklahoma tags of 933 GZX. He said he was going to some pawn shops and then a casino in Tulsa, but it looks as though he never arrived at either destination.

Trapp is missing both of his legs and has a severed right thumb. He was last seen wearing a red, white and blue western-style shirt and overalls. He is a diabetic and may be in need of his medication.

Deputies say Trapp looks similar to Santa Clause with a white beard.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office at 918-756-4311
