Three individuals are behind bars Tuesday morning after one of them crashed an SUV through a Tulsa International Airport fence.

Officers said the incident began at a motel on East Admiral late Monday night. An officer noticed a stolen vehicle there which matched the description of a report he took Sunday being loaded with weapons.

According to the police report, Tylor Bailor and Joni Mathews drove around to the west side of the motel and exited the vehicle. Both went into a room and met Ryan Campbell.

Tulsa Police told KTUL that Campbell noticed the officer waiting for backup outside the room. He came out of the hotel office, jumped into a white SUV and sped away.

The pursuit ended when Campbell smashed a fence near the airport's south end.

Police K-9 tracked Campbell down and officers arrested him near the cargo area. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out. Campbell was injured in the crash and bitten by the K-9 officer.

Officers said that Campbell won't face federal charges because he didn't drive past a restrictive barrier. Airspace above the airport was closed for a short time for the police helicopter to search. No flights were delayed.

Bailor and Mathews were arrested after police discovered the stolen vehicle at the motel contained a stolen 20 gauge shotgun and a rifle. Jewelry and laptop computer were also discovered.

All three are being held at the Tulsa County Jail.
