Grit and Grind Headed To Stillwater

Posted: Updated:

Former Oklahoma State Star Tony Allen is heading back to Stillwater.  The Memphis Grizzly will hold his Grit and Grind Basketball Skills Academy on June 29-31st at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

The Stillwater camp is for kids ages 9-17 and the registration fee is being waived.

Allen, a member of Oklahoma State's Final Four team in 2004, just completed his ninth season in the NBA, including his third with the Grizzlies. He is a two-time member of the NBA's All-Defense first team and won a World Championship in 2008 with the Boston Celtics.

Allen (545 career NBA games) ranks third among former Cowboys in career NBA games played, trailing only John Starks (866) and Desmond Mason (643). He is one of two former Pokes to win an NBA championship ring, as Terrel Harris won a championship title in 2012 with the Miami Heat.

To register for the Stillwater camp, parents can visit his website at TonyAllen9.com. For more information, please e-mail or call (773) 609-2861.
