Ribbon-Cutting Marks Opening of Philbrook Downtown

A ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday morning will mark the official opening of Philbrook Downtown, a satellite location of the Philbrook Museum of Art in the Brady Arts District.

A 30,000-square-foot converted industrial warehouse between Cincinnati and Boston.will feature three distinct visual arts initiatives -- modern & contemporary art, Native American art and a research & programming agenda.

Philbrook Downtown will open to the public Friday, June 14th with free admission during opening weekend, June 14th through the 16th.

Opening Weekend Hours:

Friday, June 14th, Noon - 9 p.m. (cash bar and music, 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.);

Saturday, June 15th, Noon - 7 p.m. (family-friendly activities, Noon - 5 p.m.)

Sunday, June 16th, Noon - 5 p.m.

Beginning Wednesday, June 19th, Philbrook Downtown will observe the following hours:

Wednesdays - Saturdays, Noon - 7 p.m.

Sundays, Noon - 5 p.m.

Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for students/seniors. Youth 17 and under, as well as Philbrook Museum members will receive free admission.

Philbrook Downtown will offer free admission on the second Saturday of every month, as well as the first Friday of every month.
