Join Felix Jones For His Football Camp

Posted: Updated:

Believe and achieve is the message for this year's Felix Jones Football and Life Skills Academy.  The new Philadelphia Eagle has been holding these camps for the last five years now.

It's free for students entering the 9th through the 12th grade.

Felix was on the Ford Sports Xtra with us Sunday night and he talked about why it's so important for him to give back to him community.

"This community raised me and for me to get an opportunity to come back and help out and share my knowledge is something I've always wanted to do." Jones said, "I just get a lot of happiness and joy.  You know just to see the smiles on those young men's faces just puts something in me that makes me want to continue to do this.  It's just something that I love to do."

The 5th Annual Felix Jones Football and Life Skills Academy is this Saturday at Booker T. Washington High School.  It goes from 7:00am through 6:00pm.

And again it is, FREE.
