Neighbors said they are still in shock following what police are calling an "apparent murder-suicide" Sunday in a Vinita neighborhood.

Vinita Police, OSBI, and the medical examiner's office are investigating the deaths of Kimberly Cameron, 41, and Raymond Williams, 44. The two were found dead in Cameron's home on East Canadian Avenue. They have not released additional information about the circumstances of their deaths.

Neighbors and friends told Channel 8 it was apparently gunshot wounds.

"It's going to be hard to walk out and not see her," said neighbor Amy Chuckluck. She said Cameron was her best friend, supporting Chuckluck through an addiction. She described Cameron as a devoted mother to her three children. She said she was an active volunteer at school.

Police Chief Bobby Floyd agreed.

"If somebody needed help, she was there for them," Floyd said.

Floyd said there had not been any domestic violence calls to Cameron's home.

Channel 8 met Williams' father outside Cameron's home Monday. He said he did not know that Cameron and Williams were a couple. He said Williams is a father, and his wife passed away earlier this year from a medical problem.

Floyd said the investigation could be weeks or months long.
