2008 Heisman Trophy winner and Oklahoma native Sam Bradford spent Monday at Oak Tree National's golf course in Edmond for the inaugural St. Jude Sam Bradford Golf Classic.
The charity event went towards benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The day included a round of golf, lunch, and a silent auction of autographed Sooners memorabilia.
Bradford, a former Sooner and now the starting quarterback for the St. Louis Rams, met with the local media briefly to discuss the inaugural event and also how he's optimistic about this upcoming NFL season.
