Tulsa Police arrested a 33-year-old woman early Friday morning following a wreck that sent two people to an area hospital.

Officers placed Cortney Russell under arrest and booked her on a driving under the influence complaint. She was arrested following the wreck that took place around 2 a.m. on Highway 169 southbound, just north of the Broken Arrow expressway interchange.

According to the police report, authorities believe two people were out trying to push a disabled car off of Highway 169. From there, Russell's car hit the first one, knocking the two victims to the pavement.

A spark from the crash lit the first vehicle on fire. It had reportedly been leaking oil.

When officers came into contact with Russell they found a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her." She also had blood shot eyes and admitted to drinking in midtown prior to the wreck.

At last check, the two victims were in critical condition.
