TPD: Drunk Mom Wrecks Car With Three Kids Inside

A Tulsa mom is facing three charges of child endangerment after police said she got into a drunk driving accident with her three young children in the car.

Police responded to the wreck near 10100 E. 31st around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to a police report, officers found 33-year-old Shannon Hardy with bloodshot eyes, staggering, a strong odor of alcohol and unable to follow simple directions.

Hardy blew a .255 blood alcohol content on a breath test, police said.

Hardy had her three children, ages 8, 8, and 3, in the backseat. The 3-year-old was not in any type of restraint.

She was arrested for three counts of child endangerment, DUI-injury, no driver's license, following too closely and child restraint violations.

She's jailed on more than $75,000 bond.
