Multiple Hospitalized After Car Accident

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa Police are investigating a car crash that left four adults and three children in the hospital.

The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday night at King and Troost.  While TPD is still gathering information, they know a black SUV and a silver car were involved.  There were three adults and three kids, without seatbelts, under the age of five in the car.   At least one or two people were ejected from that car upon impact.  EMSA took all six people to St. Francis Hospital.

The driver from the SUV drove away from the scene of the accident, but later returned and spoke to police.  EMSA took him to OSU Medical for treatment and to check his blood.

Police will figure out who ran a stop sign that lead to this accident.  The driver of the SUV did tell police he had been drinking earlier that night.
