Man Wanted for Questioning in NSU Death Taken Into Custody

A suspect wanted in questioning for the death of a NSU professor is still at-large after a police chase.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Heather Black was taken into custody near 91st and Highway 169 in Tulsa this afternoon.

Black had been on the run with her boyfriend, Joshua Schneider, who is wanted for numerous felony warrants and for questioning in regards to the death of NSU professor, Tiffany Maher.

Schneider was still on the run, however Tulsa Police apprehended him minutes after Black turned herself in.

TPD used search dogs and its helicopter to locate Schneider.
